Brief Description:
A 15 km greenfield toll road to create a direct road link between the Amman–Irbid Road (Highway 35) and the Ajloun–Irbid Road (Road 55). The road will enable smooth access to Ajloun city, enhance regional connectivity, and support tourism and agricultural development in northern Jordan.
The project includes:

  • Road Infrastructure Development: Construction of a modern road with enhanced safety features.
  • Smart Transportation Systems: Integration of intelligent traffic management to reduce congestion and improve travel time.

Implementation Timeline:

  • Q4 / 2025: Advisor appointment in progress
  • Q3 / 2026: Tender launch
 
 

Status:
Preliminary feasibility and design studies were completed by Arabtech Jardaneh and ALG. The project is registered in the National Registry of Government Projects.

Investment Size 

The project  is with an expected USD 50 million with a  double-digit IRR.
